Warning: A dog kennel should not be too large, as your dog will need to warm up the space with his body warmth. If you choose a kennel that is too large your dog may get too cold.

Tip: Make the kennel even cosier by adding an insulating blanket.

Note: Accustom your pet slowly and gently to temporary accommodation in the kennel. Start by allowing your pet to stay relaxed in the kennel with the door open. Only then accustom it to being placed in the closed kennel and extend the length of stay. The kennel should never be used as a punishment, as it should be a safe and positive place for your four-legged friend.
