The constantly‑flowing water is a great way to encourage your pet to drink more.
This Cat Mate Drinking Fountain has been designed with a tiered system that offers your pet different drinking heights. As the water runs from the top level to the lower bowl, it acts as a waterfall, while reducing splashing water and keeping the area around your pet's drinking fountain dry. It is particularly safe and has a quiet operating sound, as well as being easy to keep clean as the bowls can be removed and put in the dishwasher.

Note: When used with only one cat/dog, it is recommended to replace the filter monthly. When used with two or more pets, more frequent replacement may be necessary as the filter could become clogged and this could lead to premature pump failure. It is recommended to change the water contained in the fountain weekly to avoid possible limescale deposits. It is also recommended to descale the pump of the Cat Mate drinking fountain monthly.
Note: If used for multiple animals, we recommend replacing the top baffle with an additional filter element (sold separately) to extend the filter change intervals.
Note: While the normal replacement filter is particularly suitable for households in areas with soft tap water (low hardness), the 3-stage replacement filter is specially designed for households in areas with hard tap water (high hardness). We recommend that you find out about the hardness of the water in your area before purchasing.
